Tips for taking medicines
Nobody likes taking medicines but sometimes they are necessary. Lots of people,
young and old, find it difficult to remember to take them. Here are some handy
hints to try and help.
TeensHealth.ORG
TeensHealth was created for teens looking for honest, accurate information
and advice about health, relationships, and growing up. We offer a safe, private
place that's accessible 24 hours a day to get the doctor-approved info you
need to understand the changes that you (or your friends) may be going through
- and to make educated decisions about your life. There's a lot of confusing,
misleading, and just plain wrong health information on the Web - and our mission
is to tell it to you straight.
"We're Talking"
"We're Talking" was developed by the Adolescent Interest Group (AIG)
of the Palo Alto Medical Foundation (PAMF). The group is comprised of PAMF physicians,
social workers, educators and researchers concerned with addressing the health
care needs of adolescents. AIG members volunteer countless hours to review Web
content and create new material to ensure the site continues to provide teens
with comprehensive, up-to-date health information.
Foundation for Dreams, Inc. and
Dream Oaks Camp
The Mission of the Foundation for Dreams, Inc. and Dream Oaks Camp (Bradenton,
Florida) is to provide fun, educational, and recreational experiences in an
outdoor camp environment to enhance the lives of children ages 7-17 with physical
and developmental disabilities and serious illnesses. We have financial assistance
available to most any family who contacts us. Further, no child will be turned
down due an inability to pay.
